Alison Munsch, Ph.D.

Bio:

Alison Munsch is a creative and innovative professional with a depth of experience in marketing research, strategy development, including AI adoption in pedagogy, multicultural insights, and teaching marketing, consumer behavior, international business, statistics, and research topics at the university level.

Alison Munsch is the founder and principal of Insights for Actions Research, a marketing and research consultancy known for delivering data-driven, actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. With a career spanning top-tier organizations including The Gillette Company, PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, and MetLife, she brings deep expertise in uncovering consumer behavior trends, optimizing brand performance, and minimizing risk through evidence-based strategies.

Alison Munsch is an award-winning educator. She is a tenured Associate Professor at the La Penta School of Business at Iona University and has served as Associate Provost and Provost Fellow, leading equity and AI adoption initiatives. She is a recipient of the Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Faculty Fellowship Award, leading entrepreneurial initiatives with students and the surrounding community.  Alison Munsch is also an Assistant Adjunct Professor at New York University’s School of Professional Studies, teaching marketing research and statistical analysis.

She holds leadership roles in key organizations, including the International Information Management Association, where she was the immediate past Vice President of Strategy and currently serves as President.  She also serves as the Vice President of Social Impact for the Connecticut Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
